I was indifferent to using my 35mm fixed lens until tonight.
It’s proven itself.
It was underestimated.
Sifting back through photos from Southport and the UK from last year,
I keep finding spots I want to find again. This is one of them.
60 days until I board that plane.
My first paycheck from Alternative Press Magazine arrived today.
Needless to say, I was very excited bringing in the mail!

My mum, granny, and I got stuck in the snow storm and traffic leaving Chicago yesterday. We pretty much spent 6 full hours in the car from the time we began leaving downtown Chicago until the time we reached back home.
I was so happy that I took my camera with.

There are very few cake-like sweets that even come close to Sprinkles cupcakes.
I feel as though most people pull their face at these now..
but Chicago, for the 5 to 8 inches of snow you got today,
these sure did the trick!
I love my UGGs in the winter.
Been getting some photos done today of stuff for ebay,
and when I turned my back for one moment Whimsi jumped up on the table.
She looked too cute to not take advantage of with my camera,
and just look at that cute tongue out shot!
